At the start of 2011, an amazing array of international comic writers and performers assembled at The Vanguard in Hollywood, California for the Season 2 shoots of Showtime's The Green Room with Paul Provenza. Some were guests, some were Season 1 guests, some friends of guests, some came just to watch the fun. Team Buzzine was in the VIP room (or, if you like, The Green Room Green Room) to create a series of interviews in an attempt to help capture the amazing atmosphere of friendship, fun, and the plundering of an excellent open bar.

Along the way, we also captured some intimate portraits of a virtual who's who of comedy, including Janeane Garofalo, Lewis Black, Ray Romano, Judd Apatow, Lee Camp, Rick Overton, Joe Rogan, Margaret Cho, John Corbett, Dave Attell, Barbara Romen, Franklyn Ajaye, Rick Shapiro, Doug Stanhope (and Bingo), Jim Jefferies, Kelly Carlin, Glenn Wool, Marc Maron, Matt Kirshen, Kumail Nanjiani, Eddie Ifft, Ron White, Greg Proops, Jamie Kilstein, Randy Credico, Kathleen Madigan, Dana Gould, and Tommy Chong alongside our host and ringmaster, Mr. Paul Provenza himself.

Season 2 of The Green Room with Paul Provenza premieres new episodes on Showtime each Thursday night at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT beginning Thursday, July 14, 2011.
