At the start of 2011, an amazing array of international comic writers and performers assembled at The Vanguard in Hollywood, California for the Season 2 shoots of Showtime's The Green Room with Paul Provenza.

Some were guests, some were alumni from Season 1, some were friends of guests, and some came just to watch the fun. Team Buzzine was in and around the set, the backstage area and the VIP room (or, if you like, the Green Room Green Room) to create a series of interviews in an attempt to help capture the amazing atmosphere of friendship, fun, and the plundering of a most excellent open bar.  

Buzzine's Nicole Rayburn spent a very happy few days chatting with a virtual who's who of comedy including Paul Provenza, Dan Dion, Dana Gould, Gary Shapiro, Greg Proops, Kumail Nanjiani, Richard Lewis, Margaret Cho, Kathleen Madigan, Bo Burnham, Ron White, Doug Stanhope, Dave Attell, Janeane Garofalo, Lewis Black, Lee Camp, Rick Shapiro, Kathy Griffin, Judd Apatow, Glenn Wool, Jamie Kilstein, Tommy Chong, Joe Rogan, Ray Romano, Marc Maron, Ron Jeremy, David Feldman, Kelly Carlin, Barbara Romen, Rick Overton, Rick Siegel and Jim Jefferies...and now, here they all are...on the BUZZScene.

Season 2 of 'The Green Room with Paul Provenza' premieres new episodes on Showtime each Thursday night at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT beginning Thursday, July 14, 2011.
